This video describes the difference between the concept of happy and the concept of happiness. Pursuing happy will not produce a meaningful, worthwhile life ... pursuing happiness gives meaning to a person's life. Understand the difference is very important for anyone looking for purpose.
There is a war being waged on our happiness. It is important to understand that we are in this war and who we are fighting. The little voice inside of us will help us win the war on the matrix (advertising, billboards, peer pressures ...).
We can't wait until later in life to do the things that we already know that we need to do - travel, take risks, spend time with family, see new things ...
Research shows that there are 4 basic sources of our happiness: being healthy, being engaged, being connected to others, and being good - having a relationship with a Higher Power. Since we know all of these sources, we need to commit to pursuing them every day.
Everyone (says) that they want to find happiness, but very few people intentionally pursue happiness every day. Most people randomly bump into happiness (and unfortunately sadness) throughout the day. Each of us needs to intentionally seek happiness each day.
